How To Hibachi: Soy Ginger Tofu Bites
Soy Ginger Tofu Bites
Ingredient List:
- 1 block firm tofu (1 lb)
- 1T sesame oil
- 1T soy sauce
- 1T rice vinegar
- 1T yumyum sauce
- 1t ginger
- salt/pepper/cayenne to taste
- Nutritional yeast (optional)
Instructions:
- Press tofu in towel to remove excess moisture
- Meanwhile prepare Marinade by combining sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, yumyum sauce, ginger, salt/pepper/cayenne
- Cut tofu into 1" - 2" cubes and place in marinade for 2 hours
- Prepare hot griddle, drain excess marinade and sear tofu in sesame oil.
- Pro Tip: toss in nutritional yeast after draining for extra crisp!
- Turn frequently until crispy! Approx 10 minutes.
